P5/6 English September Holiday Programme

Your child has learned grammar rules, practised comprehension passages, written countless compositions. But PSLE English tests all of this in a single paper — and skills like grammar and vocabulary don’t stay contained to Paper 2. They carry over into Paper 1’s language use, shaping how clearly and accurately your child writes under exam conditions. Our September Holiday Programme is built to consolidate both: 4 lessons covering core Paper 2 technique and our signature approach to composition.

What the 4 Lesson Programme Covers

• Lessons 1 & 2: Paper 2: Must -know techniques across Grammar, Vocabulary, Editing, Synthesis & Transformation, and Comprehension

 • Lessons 3 & 4: Composition: Applying our Storyline Approach across a wide range of prelim composition topics:

Composition topics covered: Making a Decision, A Meaningful Chance, A Chance, An Opportunity, An Unexpected Situation, A Difficult Task, Overcoming a Difficulty, Accomplishing a Difficult Task, A New Experience, An Achievement, Being Confident, Working Towards a Goal, A Plan That Went Wrong

By the end of the programme, students will:
